He will also share insights into the changing landscape of the Canadian transportation industry, including HR challenges and opportunities as well as the future outlook of our industry.

Dr. Hildebrand will discuss how the newly constructed arterial highways in New Brunswick have benefited from many recent enhancements that result in improved safety for all users. Looking towards the near future, highway operations may provide levels of safety and capacities that were barely imaginable a few years ago. This presentation will discuss exciting technologies that could revolutionize road travel in the coming years.

January Luncheon


Speaker Andrew de Freitas will be providing an update on the progress CN has made and will pick up where we last left off. The focus of the presentation will be CN’s CustomerFirst initiatives and the outside in approach CN has adopted as part of their corporate business model. We will also look at how outside-in lens is changing the way CN interacts with their customers. The CustomerFirst initiatives are playing an important role in creating business opportunities and helping to shape CN’s product offering and market positioning.

Donation to the Transportation Discovery Centre


The Transportation Club of Moncton has recently donated a cheque in the amount of $5000 to the Transportation Discovery Centre.

The new facility is scheduled to open in 2014.
